Kathryn Maxine Allen Eureka- Kathryn Maxine Allen, 65, of Eureka, passed away at 12:24 am on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Fondulac Rehabilitation Center in East Peoria. She was born on April 15, 1946 in Clinton, IL a daughter of Frank and Alice Williams Doss. Surviving are her children, Alyce Atchison of Wapella, IL; Julia Allen of Washington; and Jeffrey Allen of Eureka, IL; four grandchildren, Frank, Michelle, David, and Brenna; and one sister, Marilyn (Walt) Anderson of Washinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Joe Doss. According to her wishes cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life service will be held from 3:30-7:00pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Wapella Town Hall. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is assisting the family with arrangements.
