Mary Edna Haecker Eureka- Mary Edna Haecker, 87, of Eureka, passed away at 6:45a.m. on Wednesday , August 25, 2010 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka where she was a resident. She was born on May 11, 1923 in Towanda, IL a daughter of William and Myrtle Sidebottom Mounce. She married Richard B. Haecker on May 2, 1948 in Eureka. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Sherry Walker, Mindy (Sal) Perillo both of Washington, IL; one son, Randy (Mary) Haecker of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren, Michael and Gina Perillo; Todd and Brian Stiles; Tracy (Craig) Hirshman; and two great grandchildren, Corbin and Carson Hirshman. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and three sisters. She was a member of the 4-G Club, Peoria Dance Club, and the Eureka Christian Church. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation rites will be accorded. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eureka Fire Department and Eureka Hospital.
