Melvin Charles Jones, Jr.
Bloomington-Melvin Charles Jones, Jr., 50, of Bloomington passed
away at 7:10 pm on December 1, 2011 in Bloomington.
He leaves behind to mourn his wife, Valishia Jones of
Bloomington, his two daughters, Megan Michelle Woods of Chicago, IL
and Charita (Dakota Haynes, Sr.) Canty of Normal; one son, Jarrod
Nico Rice of Normal; and four siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December
7, 2011 at Our Deliverance, 818 E. Chestnut in Bloomington, IL.
Pastor Homer Calhoun will officiate. Visitation will be held one
hour prior to the service at Our Deliverance. According to the
family's wishes cremation rites will follow services.
Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is handling
arrangements for the family.
